David Porter

Born and raised in New Zealand, David was educated in England where he began his career in banking. He’s been based in New York for twenty five years.
Today, David leads the Genesys Financial Services industry team.

In prior roles, David spent many years building and leading businesses at J.P. MorganChase. He led the sales, marketing, analytics and client experience teams for J.P. Morgan Global Wealth Management. Before this, he led the Chase Private Client business. He started his JPMC career leading the Chas
affluent credit card business.

He began his financial services career with Lloyds Bank. This was followed by twelve years at American Express working in strategy, sales & marketing and business leadership roles in Europe, Asia and the US. David is married with two boys (and Skipper the dog). When weekend time permits, he can be found working on a collection of motorcycles, rusting in the garage.
